Located within the Espai Gironès shopping center (Salt), the store spans an area of 3,700sq m of surface and sells a number of different lines of the chain, including its Primark Cares division which boasts a sustainable spirit.
With this latest inauguration, Primark has created 80 jobs in the area, as reported in a statement. In Spain, the company has 54 stores, whilst its entire portfolio consists of 401 stores. Its further plans for the Spanish market include reaching 57 stores in the country by 2022, and in total these openings are expected to create around 650 jobs.
The Irish chain says that the Spanish market is its second largest in terms of both sales volume and total points of sale.
