Meadowhall Announces Trio of New Deals

The super-regional UK mall has unveiled a trio of deals, with JD, Superdrug and Ann Summers growing to a combined 42,278sq ft in the centre.

Nearly trebling its presence on Meadowhall’s Lower Level High Street, JD is upsizing by taking five adjacent units to create a 29,225sq ft store, its biggest in the region and second largest nationally. This substantial investment follows the brand’s success at the destination, with the new 63m frontage allowing JD to better showcase a wealth of global brands, including Nike, adidas and The North Face within the centre. Opening in 2026, the bigger space will feature dedicated brand and product areas, alongside regular in-store activations, providing an enhanced shopper experience for Meadowhall’s visitors.

Superdrug is relocating on Meadowhall’s Lower Level High Street and is set to open one of its largest stores in the country in late May. The new 10,199sq ft location will allow customers to discover the latest trending beauty products and delight in beauty treatments like ear piercing, manicures and eye-brow threading at expert Beauty Studios, Superdrug’s recommitment to Meadowhall is part of the brand’s successful sustainable store scheme, which ensures sites are as sustainable and energy efficient as possible.

Ann Summers’ upsize is also into a unit on Meadowhall’s Lower Level High Street. The 2,854sq ft enhanced store is set to showcase an elevated store design and offer visitors the chance to discover a wider range of the brand’s iconic products.
