CARBONE Dubai Opens its Doors

New York-Italian restaurant CARBONE Dubai has officially opened, welcoming guests after a concerted build-up of events and teasers.

The Italian-American dining rooms inspired by 1950s New York took their first reservations at Atlantis The Royal on Monday night, more than ten years since first opening in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village.

This marked CARBONE’s tenth worldwide location, thanks to a partnership with Major Food Group. The restaurant was started by chefs Mario Carbone, Rich Torrisi and Jeff Zalaznick in 2012 and they now have locations spanning Hong Kong to Riyadh.

Major Food Group, owned by Carbone, Torrisi and Zalaznick, have built a dynamic portfolio of 50 restaurants, private clubs, bars and hotels across 15 cities.

Signature dishes include Caesar alla ZZ, linguini vongole, chicken massimo, veal parmesan and spicy rigatoni, which guests can enjoy while being transported to the golden age of glamour. An extensive wine collection with more than 450 labels now dot CARBONE’s shelves, including rare vintages, boutique producers and rare Dubai firsts.

From chandeliers to a curated art collection, velvet nooks and damask-adorned walls with Venetian glass mirrors, CARBONE Dubai blends elegance, creativity and warmth to create intrigue and relaxation as envisioned by designer Ken Fulk, in partnership with Bishop Design.
