The company has opened its newest store, which the brand calls Community Hubs, in New York City’s Upper East Side on 15 November.
Figs say the new store is designed to provide shoppers with an immersive experience, including a Color Clinic and a Customization Station. The store features pill chandeliers, seating areas and “modern-meets-medical” inspired fixtures.
The New York City store, located near healthcare centres such as Memorial Sloan Kettering, New York-Presbyterian and Lenox Hill, joins Figs’ other two locations in Los Angeles and Philadelphia. The brand says new stores are slated to open in the future.
“New York City is home to some of the world’s most prestigious healthcare institutions and we’re thrilled to bring a Figs Community Hub to the Upper East Side,” said Figs Founder and CEO Trina Spear. “This space is designed to serve and celebrate the thousands of healthcare professionals working tirelessly in this community. We can’t wait to welcome the NYC healthcare community to this space.”
Launched as a direct-to-consumer brand in 2013, Figs offers scrubs in various styles for men and women, along with accessories. The brand went public in 2021.
