The company has announced the reopening of its store in Alto Palermo, at a time when the brand is experiencing a renewed global boom.
Its logo, historically associated with extreme performance, became part of the urban landscape in major fashion capitals. The expansion of the gorpcore style and strategic collaborations connecting the outdoor world with urban aesthetics solidified the brand as a bridge between sport and trends.
The return of major international brands to the country, facilitated by greater exchange rate stability and the easing of import restrictions, created a favourable climate for retail growth. In this context, the reopening of The North Face store in Alto Palermo mirrored the dynamism of Buenos Aires’ shop windows and reinforced the brand’s presence in a high-traffic commercial corridor with significant growth potential.
The opening event brought together local celebrities such as Zaira Nara, Chino Leunis and Cale Ruggeri, along with influencers from the sports and fashion worlds. A highlight of the day was a talk by molecular biologist Estanislao Bachrach, a specialist in leadership, innovation and sports coaching.
Grimoldi, the brand’s operator in the country, emphasised that The North Face is entering a new phase in Argentina. The Alto Palermo store joins the existing locations in Unicenter and Alto Comahue, as well as the e-commerce channel, solidifying the brand’s presence in the local market.
