Hampton by Hilton Expands in Peru

One of the most recognised brands in Hilton’s global portfolio, Hampton by Hilton has officially celebrated the opening of Hampton by Hilton Cusco.

This is the first property in the historic capital of the Inca Empire and the brand’s third hotel in Peru, alongside Hampton by Hilton Lima San Isidro and Hampton by Hilton Arequipa, developed and operated by Metro Hotels.

With an investment of US$20M, Hampton by Hilton Cusco is projected to be a new landmark in the imperial city. Located 500m from the Koricancha Temple and one kilometre from the Plaza de Armas, the hotel is integrated into the cultural experience of a city recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. With 120 rooms and a concept that combines comfort, value and genuine hospitality, the hotel offers free Wi-Fi, a wellness area with a jacuzzi, a 24/7 market and a meeting room for up to 60 people. Guests enjoy the traditional Hampton hot breakfast every morning, with waffle stations and options such as eggs, bacon, fruit, cereal and yogurt.

“This hotel has been created with a lot of effort, dedication and passion. I am proud to belong to Metro Hotels, a company focused on details that has managed to grow despite adversity. We seek to fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality, providing comfort and genuine service that makes our guests feel at home,” said Wilma Zúñiga, General Manager of Hampton by Hilton Cusco.

“Seeing this room full of friends, partners and family is proof that dreams come true when you work as a team. This hotel symbolises unity, perseverance and faith in the development of Cusco,” highlights Nancy Villegas, Shareholder of Hampton by Hilton Cusco.
