Chinese coffee chain Luckin Coffee has opened its first flagship store in Malaysia at SkyAvenue, Resorts World Genting – its largest outlet in the country to date.
Spanning 2,084q ft, the store features a theme park-inspired design aimed at creating an immersive experience for customers.
Elements include a Merry-Go-Round-style coffee bar, a roller coaster-themed seating area, an interactive ‘charge your luck’ zone and an IP wall showcasing Lucky, the brand’s mascot.
Alongside the new flagship, the brand has rolled out its Coffee Mobile Truck, a mobile activation unit designed to extend its reach beyond traditional retail locations, including universities, townships and festivals.
Luckin Coffee Malaysia CEO Jeff Lim said the dual strategy of physical stores and mobile touchpoints is key to accelerate the brand’s national expansion.
“Collectively, we aim to strengthen our presence in this country, which allows us to reach a broader customer base, build deeper brand loyalty and elevate our value proposition through a well-rounded and immersive retail experience,” Lim added.
