The legacy Chinese copper craftsmanship brand named after master Zhu Bingren, Zhu Bingren Copper, has opened its first overseas flagship in Singapore, under its global brand ZenBron.

Located at Chinatown Point as a fifth-generation copper-craft store, the brand takes its “150 years of fire, form and cultural heritage” beyond borders, marking an “artistic exchange” between the two nations while strengthening Zhu Bingren’s long-standing relationship with Singapore.

As the launch coincided with the brand-led Gratitude Festival championed by the Zhu family, it lends the copper artworks a “symbolic meaning of warmth and sincerity”. Zhu Junmin, fifth-generation master craftsman and the successor of the Zhu Bingren Copper, said: “By celebrating our Gratitude Festival for the first time outside of China, we are honoured to extend the festival’s spirit beyond China and to share its meaningful message of appreciation with Singapore’s diverse community.”

To commemorate the coincidental events and honour the art of gifting ahead of Chinese New Year, the Singapore store features the brand’s latest ‘Horse of Victory’ edition, alongside other contemporary home ornaments, scholar’s studio collectibles and molten-bronze artworks, where each piece carries “the same spirit of blessing”.

Zhu Bingren is a master Chinese sculptor, whose works are part of national museum collections. Zhu Bingren Copper, founded in 1875 and spanning five generations of heritage, is renowned for integrating ancient copper artistry into modern, high-end gifts and everyday essentials.

With six art centres and more than 200 lifestyle experience stores in its home country, the brand now aims to make its art accessible to local collectors, culture lovers and design enthusiasts through this overseas expansion.
