A grocery anchor with a sleek design has landed at a new mixed-use development in Utah. Bella’s Market is supported and managed by Logan, Utah-based Lee’s Marketplace.
Bella’s Market, spanning 40,000sq ft, has opened its doors at Utah City, a mixed-use “urban destination” in Vineyard, located just outside of Provo. Design teams RDC and DyeLot Interiors collaborated on the new store, with RDC serving as the store’s architect and DyeLot providing interior design and branding services.
“The concept for Bella’s Market was to bring a grocery amenity to Utah City, one that will also serve the surrounding residential communities,” said Terry Todd, AIA, Principal of RDC. “The vision was to create a place where customers will have a touch of the luxury grocery experience and where they can get the specialty products of smaller format luxury retail stores while also being able to do regular weekly shopping.”
Bella’s Market is supported and managed by Logan, Utah-based Lee’s Marketplace (a grocer with nine locations in the state) through a partnership with Utah City, built by Woodbury Corp. and Flagship Cos. Departments at the new store include bakery, produce, meat/deli, floral and pharmacy.
