The Australian fashion house, Zimmermann, has opened its first store in Thailand, at Iconsiam in Bangkok.
Designed by Studio McQualter, the boutique features a facade of large windows showcasing ready-to-wear collections and accessories. The interior is anchored by Dutch Art Deco tables and Italian shelving inspired by the 1970s.
Ready-to-wear pieces are displayed across wall-mounted rails, recessed displays and stand-alone wardrobes. The accessories area is set beneath a generous ceiling height, with muted green beams and bespoke aluminium shelving designed for showcasing bags.
The boutique is divided into zones that aim to offer customers a “layered spatial” experience. Each area is defined by colour palettes, patterns and materials, while a tiled floor acts as a visual guide, leading customers through the space.
Nicky Zimmermann, Creative Director and Co-Founder, said the store was designed to be more than a clothing display. “It is conceived as a destination that fully embodies the spirit of Zimmermann, from the considered selection of textures and materials to the integration of art and furniture,” she said. “Every element is thoughtfully composed to invite visitors to linger, explore and truly inhabit the world of the brand.”
