Located inside the city’s historic Queen Victoria Building, the new Arc’teryx Sydney store spans 476 square metres over three levels, and introduces to the Australian market its Alpha store concept, an immersive retail experience designed to bring together the Canadian brand’s complete product offering including trail running, hiking, climbing, snow sports and everyday technical apparel, alongside footwear, accessories and packs.
The Sydney flagship will also be the largest dedicated Australian retail space for Veilance, Arc’teryx’s premium technical fashion line designed for everyday wear. Lastly, the flagship will also feature a dedicated ReBirdTM Service Centre, the brand’s platform for circularity focused where customers can repair and extend the life of their purchases.
“What’s exciting about the growth of Arc’teryx is that it has come from a genuine connection to the brand DNA, technical innovation, craftsmanship, design integrity and mountain culture. This store is our most complete expression of that philosophy in Australia to date,” said Bianca Bernardi, ANZ country director of Arc’teryx, which is owned by China’s Amer Sports.
“We wanted to create a space that feels immersive and experiential, somewhere people can engage more deeply with the product, the design philosophy of the brand, and the broader Arc’teryx community.” The new store opening takes Arc’teryx’s store count in Australia to ten, with more than 160 stores globally. Looking ahead, the Vancouver-founded brand said it is planning more openings across Australia and New Zealand as it expands its presence across the region.
This is the largest Arc’teryx store in the southern hemisphere.
