The UAE-based burger brand has opened its first international outlet in Qatar, supporting its strategic growth amidst economic uncertainty, with further UAE expansions underway.
The decision emerges as the company navigates a climate of economic uncertainty in the region, signalling a commitment to long-term growth and operational consistency. The choice of Qatar reflects a carefully considered approach, as the founder views the market’s strong food culture as conducive to building lasting customer relationships.
This latest venture will enable current employees to engage in knowledge transfer, with some members of the UAE team relocating to support the launch and ongoing operations in Qatar. This internal relocation strategy underscores Eleven Green’s focus on nurturing talent while ensuring a uniform experience across its locations.
The founders emphasise that their growth strategy prioritises strategic expansion over rapid scaling, with a mission to maintain high operational standards. “Qatar felt like the natural next step for us,” says Co-Founder Sultan Chatila. “It’s a market that really understands food culture and it’s close enough for us to stay hands-on and make sure the experience is exactly how we want it. For us, it was never about expanding fast – it was about expanding strategically.”
While the expansion into Qatar is significant, the UAE remains the focal point for Eleven Green’s ambitions. The brand has reaffirmed its commitment to investing in the local market, with several additional locations under development. This dual strategy of enhancing its UAE operations alongside regional growth is designed to work in tandem, as each market demands the same level of dedication to consistency and execution.
The brand’s growth trajectory includes the recent opening of its second dine-in restaurant in Sharjah and an upcoming drive-thru location in Ras Al Khaimah, marking its presence in a fourth Emirate. As Eleven Green embarks on this new chapter, it remains focused on identifying suitable partners and locations that align with its standards, demonstrating a deliberate and thoughtful approach to expansion in the GCC.
