The growing pet grooming chain, Woof Gang, is set to expand its footprint with its first Arkansas, Oklahoma and Utah locations.
Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming will debut its first stores in three new states this month, with locations slated to open in Rogers, Arkansas, Edmond, Oklahoma and at Olympus Hill Shopping Center Millcreek in Utah. The openings bring Woof Gang’s footprint to 36 states and Canada and build on a period of continued growth that includes the opening of its 300th location earlier this year.
Woof Gang told Chain Store Age in January that its goal is to scale to more than 450 locations open across North America by 2027. In the past two years, the brand has entered into major new markets including California and Illinois, in addition to making its debut in Canada.
Along with offering a “personalised, salon-style experience” for dogs, Woof Gang sells exclusive gourmet treats, premium pet food and curated supplies. Earlier this year, the company unveiled the largest toy launch in its history and introduced its first line of hypoallergenic pet wipes. Woof Gang’s inventory now spans more than 450 SKUs.
“The pet industry continues to demonstrate resilience within the broader consumer sector and as demand for services from America’s leading pet grooming brand grows, we are proud to advance Woof Gang’s national expansion by opening locations in new states, giving local dog parents an exciting option for grooming,” said Ricardo Azevedo, CEO of Woof Gang. “We look forward to partnering with our newest franchisees in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Utah and bringing the Woof Gang experience to these communities as pet ownership continues to rise nationwide.”
