American womenswear brand Toccin has officially launched in the UK, “marking a significant milestone in the brand’s international expansion”.
Its exclusive partner for the debut is Harrods with the label now having a dedicated shop-in-shop on the giant London department store’s fourth floor in its contemporary womenswear area.
The brand was founded by married couple Alex and Michael Toccin with Alex, who’s also CMO, saying that “opening at Harrods is an important moment for our brand and a meaningful step in our global growth”. She added: “For more than a decade, we’ve focused on building genuine relationships with the women who wear our collections and creating products that become part of their everyday lives. We’re excited to introduce Toccin to a new audience through a retailer that shares our commitment to quality, service and discovery.”
The company said the Harrods debut comes after a decade spent building its customer base through a combination of major department store partnerships, speciality retail relationships and direct engagement with the women who wear the brand. It now has a strong presence across the US and “emerged as one of the early breakout brands on Rent the Runway”.
Michael Toccin, CEO, said: “Harrods has long been recognised as one of the world’s premier retail destinations, making it an exciting partner to introduce the brand to customers from around the globe. As we continue to grow, we’re focused on partnering with retailers that value discovery, service and a strong point of view.”
