There is soon to be a second brand of ROKA in Dubai, as the global brand is set to open at Six Senses The Palm, though a launch date is yet to be revealed.
ROKA will be opening a rooftop restaurant at the much-anticipated resort, bringing the brand’s signature robatayaki dining style to Palm Jumeirah.
The opening further strengthens the brand’s presence in the UAE and across the wider GCC region, following recent openings in Kuwait, Bahrain and Riyadh.
ROKA was launched in London in 2004 from the team behind Zuma – chef Rainer Becker and entrepreneur Arjun Waney. The two restaurants are part of the Azumi Group, which also includes Oblix, INKO NITO and ETARU. The brand is known for its contemporary Japanese robatayaki cuisine and high-energy dining experience.
The new location promises a more relaxed yet elevated offering, with views being a focus. Interiors will be in-line with the signature aesthetic and the rooftop terrace will be a key feature.
The restaurant will be open from 6pm onwards, focusing on evening experiences, while the menu will house ROKA’s signature plates.
