South Korean Coffee Chain TheVenti Enters SEA

The company has made its Philippine debut through a master franchise agreement with local food and beverage distributor JJR Brothers.

Founded in 2014, the cafe is known for its massive 20-ounce portion sizes. Some of its popular fare includes espresso drinks, Korean grain lattes and fruit teas.

The company operates more than 1,600 stores in South Korea and has since grown into other markets, including Vietnam, Canada and Jordan.

The coffee chain says it plans to gradually adapt its menu and store operations to suit local consumer preferences and trading locations as it builds its presence in the country.

“Entering the Philippines is the starting point for expanding into the Southeast Asian market,” the company said. “We will provide local consumers with TheVenti’s differentiated coffee and beverage experience and gradually enhance our global brand competitiveness.”

TheVenti will open its first Philippine store in the third quarter of this year.
