Abha Home to SEVEN’s First Saudi Attraction

Abha is set to host the Kingdom’s first entertainment destination developed by Saudi Entertainment Ventures, known as SEVEN, with Asir Gov. Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz scheduled to launch the project on 5 August.

Developed in cooperation with the Asir Development Authority, it represents a milestone in the region’s tourism and entertainment sector and supports the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

Located in Abha, one of Saudi Arabia’s leading tourism and cultural destinations, the entertainment complex is designed to reflect the city’s natural landscape and cultural identity while offering year-round attractions for families, young people and visitors. It will combine interactive entertainment, social spaces and leisure activities aimed at enhancing quality of life for residents and tourists. The project forms part of the Airport District under the Asir Development Strategy, which helps enhance visitors’ arrival experience while improving links to surrounding developments and key infrastructure projects.

Officials have said its opening reflects continued efforts to strengthen Asir’s position as a leading tourism and investment destination by expanding modern entertainment infrastructure, attracting visitors and supporting economic growth.

SEVEN is developing a nationwide network of 14 entertainment destinations with investment exceeding SR50bn ($13.3bn). The projects will feature more than 150 attractions, including family entertainment centres, cinemas, adventure experiences and indoor attractions, while creating thousands of jobs and supporting domestic tourism.
