Izipizi Unveils Directly Operated Store in Japan

French eyewear brand Izipizi has opened its first directly operated store in Japan, marking its brick-and-mortar debut in the market.

Located on Cat Street between Tokyo’s Shibuya and Harajuku districts, the boutique builds on the brand’s presence in the country, where its products have been sold through selected retail partners since 2012. Izipizi said it chose Cat Street for its reputation as a hub for fashion, design and lifestyle.

The store stocks the brand’s eyewear collections, including Sun, Reading, Kids, Active and Screen, alongside models developed specifically for the Japanese market, such as light-tinted and photochromic lenses.

“With this opening, Izipizi confirms its strong presence in Japan and its ambition for the market,” the company said.

Founded in Paris in 2010 as See Concept before rebranding as Izipizi in 2017, the company specialises in ready-to-wear, non-prescription eyewear.
