Lady Pipa Launches New Commercial Concept

The Spanish formal wear and event fashion brand Lady Pipa has established its new commercial concept, ‘Casa Pipa’ in Valencia.

The brand has opened a new store at number 34 Carrer de Jorge Juan, in the heart of the city, designed with a fresh, Mediterranean-inspired aesthetic. This is the brand’s first standalone boutique in Valencia, where it previously only had a presence through a corner in the El Corte Inglés department store in the Pintor Sorolla-Colón neighbourhood.

Under the name Casa Pipa, the establishment has been designed as a contemporary reinterpretation of a Mediterranean holiday home. The project draws inspiration from the traditional architecture of Valencian farmhouses and the iconic Casa Axis, located in L’Eliana. Thus, the interior features elements such as mineral materials, continuous sky-blue flooring, cream-coloured satin ceilings, glass light fixtures and four large wooden porticos clad internally with mirrored Formica panels, combining tradition and modernity.

The tour begins with a large wooden door leading to an initial space designed as a reception area, where the brand’s latest arrivals are showcased. Next, a tunnel connects to a lounge area dominated by a painting created specifically for the brand and further on, the checkout area, designed as a hybrid between a bar and a display cabinet featuring special pieces from the collection. The tour ends in the so-called ‘Dance Hall’, a space reserved for fitting rooms, covered in shades of blue, with velvet curtains and floor-to-ceiling mirrors.

With this opening, Lady Pipa now has a total of four company-owned stores, including two in Madrid, located on Calle Lagasca and Calle Almirante and one on Calle Madrazo in Barcelona. The brand also has ten shop-in-shops within El Corte Inglés department stores in cities such as Granada, Seville, Bilbao, Zaragoza, Madrid and Pamplona. Internationally, it sells its collections in Portugal through two spaces in El Corte Inglés in Lisbon and Porto, as well as in Mexico through its partnership with the department store chain El Palacio de Hierro.
