Sisley’s India Presence to Grow

Myntra’s wholesale business Myntra Jabong India Pvt. Ltd. has entered into a strategic partnership with Italy’s Benetton Group to expand Sisley’s omni-channel presence in the Indian market.

“We are excited to bring Sisley, a Benetton Group-owned brand, into our growing portfolio of premium international fashion brands,” said Myntra’s Chief of Strategic Partnerships and Omni-Channel Venu Nair in a release on Wednesday. “The brand’s accessible Italian style, anchored in fashionability, quality and trend-led design, makes it a highly exciting proposition for Indian customers seeking versatile wardrobes for multiple occasions. With a strong playbook in exponentially building adoption for global brands ground-up, we are looking forward to unlocking the next phase of growth in Sisley’s India growth journey.”

Through the strategic partnership, MJIPL has acquired the right to distribute Sisley’s range of products while holistically scaling the label’s omni-channel presence in India. The master franchise agreement will see Myntra’s B2B entity harness its licensed franchisee partners to set up premium exclusive brand outlets and shop in shops for Sisley across India in the coming months.

“Sisley has established itself as one of Benetton Group’s premium fashion brands, known for its contemporary Italian style and distinctive design DNA,” said Benetton Group’s CEO, Distribution Nicola Capone. “As we continue to strengthen the brand’s international presence, India represents a highly promising market with significant long-term potential. Our partnership with Myntra Jabong India Pvt. Ltd. is an important step in that journey. With their deep understanding of the Indian fashion landscape and strong omni-channel capabilities, we are confident this collaboration will help us build a strong presence, expand our reach and introduce Sisley’s distinctive perspective on fashion to consumers across India.”

Established in Paris in 1968, Sisley became part of Benetton Group in 1974. Today, the men’s and women’s fashion brand counts more than 400 points of sale across over 40 countries.
