IHG Hotels & Resorts has officially opened Kimpton Nine Trees Shanghai, an addition to the hospitality company’s Lifestyle & Luxury portfolio.
As the second Kimpton hotel in Shanghai, the property is located in Fengxian, a liveable eco-district in South Shanghai, surrounded by expansive woodlands and lush urban greenery. Blending forward-thinking wellness concepts with Kimpton’s distinctive philosophy of vibrant hospitality, the hotel introduces the first large-scale lifestyle and wellness destination in Fengxian, designed to attract Shanghai residents, as well as travellers from the region and around the world.
This latest addition to the Kimpton brand features 229 guestrooms and suites, including courtyard pool rooms, family-oriented accommodations and pet-friendly amenities. At the heart of Kimpton Nine Trees lie the three on-site food and beverage options available to guests, including two on-site restaurants, SOLA & LUNA and SONG, as well as one on-site cocktail bar, ECHO. Additionally, meeting and ballroom space with optional access to outdoor lawns create social energy and experiences to bring guests together.
EverNine Spa & Wellness, the property’s bespoke, comprehensive wellness facility, includes holistic treatment rooms, an indoor heated swimming pool and an outdoor plunge pool, a 24-hour fitness centre and more. On-site, a kids’ club as well as a pet park ensure that every member of the family is welcome, seen and included.
