Nice Rice Opens First Hong Kong Store

The Chinese fashion brand Nice Rice has opened its first store in Hong Kong, marking the brand’s expansion beyond Mainland China.

The 1,500sq ft flagship in Causeway Bay is in a “premier” retail destination. “The store joins a strong line-up of leading streetwear brands, including Stussy, Inc and Carhartt, further strengthening Pak Sha Road’s position as one of the city’s premier fashion retail corridors,” said Savills, which helped Nice Rice secure the lease.

Founded in 2018 by One Sun, Nice Rice has around 20 stores in China, with its Shanghai flagship operating as a dual coffee and fashion store. Savills said that its expansion matches a growing trend of Chinese retailers looking to expand beyond the domestic market.

“With its global profile, strong retail fundamentals and diverse consumer base, Causeway Bay remains a preferred destination for brands looking to establish a flagship presence and connect with both local shoppers and international visitors,” Savills added.
