Wynn Al Marjan Island Unveils Beachfront

Wynn Al Marjan Island has completed a 550m beachfront, sheltered lagoon and offshore reef in Ras Al Khaimah. Waterfront construction gives the first detailed look at Wynn Beach ahead of the resort’s 2027 opening.

White sand and deep beach areas extend for more than half a kilometre along Al Marjan Island. Submerged rock formations sit on both sides of the sheltered lagoon. Calm water will support swimming, snorkelling, paddleboarding and kayaking. Wynn Resorts has positioned the waterfront as a major component of its first beachfront destination.

Engineered reef units installed offshore are supporting the development of a marine habitat beside the resort. Coral and marine life have already started establishing across the structures, according to Wynn Al Marjan Island. Ras Al Khaimah’s surrounding waters contain 21 recognised diving sites, including natural reefs and shipwrecks. Regional marine sanctuaries support Indian Ocean humpback dolphins and several turtle species.

Wynn Beach will operate across Resort Beach, Adult Beach and Enclave Beach. Each area will carry a separate guest environment and service format. Beach and pool areas will include chaise lounges and cabanas. Accommodation will range from smaller shaded retreats to a private Bungalow and Wynn plans to equip that Bungalow with a plunge pool and dedicated butler service.
