New York-based fashion house Carolina Herrera has launched a new flagship store in the Miami Design District, bringing the label’s full product selection to the US city while celebrating the work of women artists.
The close to 3,000sq ft store strengthens Carolina Herrera’s US retail footprint as its sixth mono-brand store in the country. After opening its doors to the public on Saturday, shoppers can now browse the label’s ready-to-wear, eveningwear, handbags, accessories, beauty, fragrance and eyewear including its Fall 2026 runway collection inspired by “Women in the Arts”.
“This new opening is a significant milestone in the brand’s 45th year and an exciting opportunity for the business,” said the brand’s President Emilie Rubinfeld in a press release. “For the past several years, we have been working closely with Craig Robbins and his team to find the perfect location where our women’s ready-to-wear and accessory collections will complement the district’s mix with our vibrant, feminine point of view. This new boutique reflects the elegance, colour and sophistication at the heart of the house, while offering an elevated and highly personal experience for our clients. We are thrilled to celebrate this next chapter in Miami, bringing the spirit of Herrera to this extraordinary community.”
The store is designed to bring together fashion, art and design and offer an immersive retail experience. The space was envisioned by Creative Director Wes Gordon and developed in partnership with Brandi Howe and Jessica Hyland of Hyland Studio, featuring materials including pink Venetian plaster infused with mica, limestone and blush-pink travertine along with custom designed furniture. As part of Carolina Herrera for Women in the Arts initiative, the boutique also displays artwork by women artists including Constanza Vallese, Liz Oliver and the Choplet Ceramics collective.
“The Carolina Herrera woman is bold, elegant and joyful. She embraces colour, expresses herself with confidence and never shies away from making an entrance,” said Wes Gordon. “Her energy is magnetic – much like the spirit of Miami – so it feels entirely natural that we should open our next home here.”
