The Japanese lifestyle retailer Muji will open four new stores at Simon Property Group shopping centres across the Northeast.
Each new location will showcase Muji’s assortment of lifestyle products, including women’s and men’s apparel, furniture and home decor, storage and organisation, kitchen and dining and more.
Founded in 1980, Muji operates more than 1,000 stores worldwide, including 10 in New York City, two in Massachusetts and one in Oregon. The brand says it is continuing to invest in its store network, digital business and customer experience.
“We are excited about the continued growth of Muji in the United States and the opportunity to bring Muji to more customers,” said Richard Rappaport, President of Muji USA. “These four new stores represent an important step in our broader US strategy. We are investing in our physical retail presence and building for the long term, with plans to expand in both new and existing markets across the country.
