Moncler Unveils Largest Flagship in New York

The firm has just opened the largest flagship store in its history on Fifth Avenue. It is a large space that brings together exclusive products, works of art, advanced technology and much more.

The chief executive, Remo Ruffini, says it is not simply about opening a shop, but something that “is part of the lives of the inhabitants of this city” and that it is “a brand statement in one of the most iconic directions in the world. We conceived it as a living space. A place shaped by the ideas, culture and spirit of the city, while remaining faithful to the DNA of the brand”.

It has been conceived as a “destination for community, discovery and cultural exchange” and gives life to the Moncler universe through a monthly calendar of interactive experiences, along with exclusive products, services and activations on Fifth Avenue.

This two-storey space, with an area of 2,200sq m, is located in the famous General Motors building, at number 767 of Fifth Avenue, near Central Park and is “characterised by its imposing volumes, its sculptural architecture and a sense of carefully studied scale”.

On the ground floor are exhibited the collections of men, women and children from the main Moncler Collection line, along with the co-creations of the Genius platform and the latest shoe novelties.

The second floor is dedicated entirely to the high-performance Moncler Grenoble line. It offers a complete wardrobe for mountain life throughout the year, including clothes and ski glasses, “cocooning” proposals for aprs-ski and light layer systems for hiking and trekking.

The space also houses a “kept selection of trusted collaborating brands”, including, among others, Moncler Grenoble’s interpretations of the skis Stckli, the POC helmets, as well as the snowboards Whitespace x Moncler Grenoble, created in collaboration with the brand’s ambassador and snowboard champion Shaun White.
