One of the largest groups of mall and retail destinations in the UAE, Dubai Retail has announced the first retail and lifestyle destination at Palm Jebel Ali.
In a post published by the Dubai Media Office on X, the new lifestyle destination will be named ‘The Yard’. The Yard will blend and fuse together 26 different concepts, ranging from retail, fine dining, wellness and healthcare to name a few.
It is expected to be able to serve and cater for over 20,000 residents across both The Yard and surrounding communities close to the new project. The sheer scale and size of the project is underscored by the fact that the area is approximately 70,000sq ft.
The timeline in terms of completion of The Yard is 2027, with some real estate commentators suggesting it will be ready by Q4 next year. Palm Jebel Ali is the brainchild of Nakheel and is actually 50 per cent bigger than the world-famous Palm Jumeirah.
