Salt Bae has returned to Dubai’s restaurant scene with a new concept that combines the luxury steakhouse experience with a more accessible burger format.
Saltbae Steak & Burger opened at Dubai Mall on 25 September, serving a menu spanning premium steaks, signature burgers, freshly prepared sides and desserts. The restaurant represents a departure from the traditional Nusr-Et Steakhouse format with which founder Nusret Gökçe built his international hospitality business.
It is intended to offer a more relaxed and contemporary environment suitable for anything from a quick meal to a longer dinner. However, many of the elements associated with the Salt Bae brand will remain.
The Dubai Mall venue will feature the theatrical tableside presentations that helped turn Gökçe into one of the restaurant industry’s most recognisable personalities. The company said the concept draws on Gökçe’s experience in selecting, preparing and cooking meat, with burgers made fresh daily and served alongside dedicated sauces and sides.
