GymNation to Launch in Thailand

The Middle East’s largest and most affordable gym brand confirms its Thailand market entry, with a flagship Bangkok gym opening in Q1 2027 ahead of a nationwide rollout.

The brand will open its first Thailand gym, a flagship site exceeding 40,000sq ft in Pathum Wan, Bangkok, in the first quarter of 2027, with memberships starting from as little as 999THB. GymNation plans to open more than 20 gyms across the country over the next three to five years, creating over 1,500 full-time jobs for local communities in the process.

Since opening its first gym in 2018, GymNation has grown to 48 gyms and more than 200,000 members across the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, building a reputation for world-class facilities, 24/7 access and inclusive, community-driven gyms that make high-quality fitness accessible to everyone. The Thailand launch brings that same promise, premium quality without the premium price tag, to Thai members for the first time.

Designed to serve a broad demographic, the gyms will deliver GymNation’s “People’s Gym” concept, centred on affordability, accessibility and inclusivity, while maintaining premium-quality facilities. Members will benefit from over 400 classes each month, state-of-the-art equipment, extensive training zones and specialist studios offering HYROX, Reformer Pilates and LES MILLS classes. Every GymNation gym in Thailand will span more than 30,000sq ft and operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, giving members the freedom to train whenever it suits them.

Thailand’s fast-growing health and wellness market, combined with a young, active and increasingly fitness-conscious population, makes it a natural next step for the brand, which aims to remove the cost barriers that have long placed premium gym facilities out of reach for many.

“Thailand is one of the most exciting fitness markets in the world, with an energy and enthusiasm for health and wellbeing that fits perfectly with everything GymNation stands for,” said William Rasmussen-Dean, CEO of GymNation SE Asia.
