Mike Ashley has placed a final bid of £51.9m on the retailer GAME. The sports retailer ha increased its stake in GAME by up to 38.5%. Sports Direct stated that it will be placing a final offer of 30p a share for stockholders.
However it could be game over for some GAME stores as Sports Direct has warned over the possibility of store closures and job losses. The billionaire is on a spending spree it would appear, having already acquired; Evans Cycles, House of Fraser and Sofa.com
