Target sets target of committing to source 100% of all its electricity from renewable sources by 2030. The goal applies to all of Target’s domestic operations, including stores, distribution centers and offices. Currently, an estimated 22% of the electricity in which they use now comes from renewable sources.
Target will be focusing on their renewable energy target by tracking their progress and is on track to souce 60% of renewable energy by 2025. The goal builds off its previous renewable energy goal, which was announced in 2017.
