The one-storey 9,000 sqm building will be the largest centre of the chain in the country. Construction work is to start next year. The developer has already purchased the 7-ha plot and the development is to include a large format DIY store while a discount grocer is also to open a large supermarket in the vicinity. The developer is also to build a roundabout along national road no. 94.
“Purchasing land in Bolesławiec for the construction of the country’s largest ever Vendo Park is another major step for Trei on the Polish commercial real estate market. We intend to increase the number of our projects from one year to another. We currently have eleven Vendo Parks in our portfolio, four of which are under construction and the plot in Bolesławiec is yet one more location that we have secured in Poland and it’s where we will be opening a retail park,” said Jacek Wesołowski, the managing director of Trei Real Estate Poland. The company focuses on towns where the saturation of retail space is lower than in larger conurbations.
