The popular American lifestyle retailer is expanding their branch network in Germany and is opening at the Mall of Berlin at the end of November.
The new store will be located on the ground floor of the Mall of Berlin and it will occupy an area of around 450sq m of retail space. This will be the first Abercrombie & Fitch store in Berlin and once open, the brand will be presented six times across Germany.
Harald Gerome Huth, Owner and Managing Director, HGHI Holding GmbH, which operates the mall, commented: “Especially in times during the corona pandemic, the new letting to Abercrombie & Fitch is a strong and meaningful sign for us and the Mall of Berlin.”
The Mall of Berlin opened in 2014 on the former site of the Wertheim department store. It comprises a total of around 76,000sq m of retail space, 12,000sq m of hotel space and around 30,000sq m of living space. Mall of Berlin boasts over 300 shops, one of the largest food courts in Germany and an extensive programme of events.
