The company has announced the opening of two new Wrangler stores in Purnea, Bihar and Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, as part of its strategy to expand the denim brand’s presence in India’s Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.

The new stores are located at Phoenix United Mall in Bareilly and in New Market in Purnea, with the aim of them to bring Wrangler’s trend-forward denim and apparel closer to consumers in emerging markets, with a focus on accessibility, convenience and technology-led retail experiences. Both outlets are omni-channel-enabled and function as fulfilment hubs for online orders, in addition to serving walk-in customers.

“We’re excited to bring Wrangler to Purnea and Bareilly – two cities that represent the rising aspirations of a new India,” said Ace Turtle’s Chief Executive Officer Nitin Chhabra in a press release. “This expansion reflects our commitment to taking Wrangler beyond metro cities and delivering a world-class shopping experience powered by technology, style and innovation.”

The new stores are designed to reinforce Ace Turtle’s efforts to integrate digital innovation with brick-and-mortar retail, offering personalised engagement and a wide product range. The openings also support Wrangler’s long-term aim to redefine the retail experience for Indian consumers.

Ace Turtle is the exclusive licensee for Wrangler in India and other South Asian markets. The business continues to scale the brand’s footprint through a tech-driven, vertically integrated retail model.
