Fast-growing immersive gaming brand Activate is continuing its rapid UK expansion with the announcement of four new venues in Watford, Maidstone, Basingstoke and Poole, bringing its unique blend of physical challenges and interactive technology to more communities across the country.
Originally launched in Canada, Activate combines physical activity with immersive gaming, challenging groups of two to five players to jump, climb and problem-solve their way through a series of high-energy game rooms. Players can take on signature games including Strike, Portals, Control, Press, Hide, Laser, Grid, Mega Grid and Hoops.
The four new locations form part of Activate’s ambitious UK growth plans following the success of its London and Newcastle venues. The attraction has quickly become a popular destination for families, Gen Z, young professionals and groups seeking a competitive social experience that combines teamwork, strategy and fun.
