The Italian concept-store dedicated to basketball is opening a first Parisian point of sale this year at the crossroads of rue Etienne Marcel and rue du Louvre.

The newly-announced 300sq m store will bring together shoes and textiles from major brands, and will also house a café and an ice cream stand. The location of the store was exceptionally important for Airness, who has invested in an elegant building in the Post Office in the Louvre, which was recently rehabilitated.

The brand intends to take advantage of the location’s interior courtyard, in the centre of the building, to organise themed events – of which they are planning six per year as is usual for Airness in their network.

Edoardo Berta, Marketing Director, Airness, said: “Our goal in Paris is to create unique experiences for basketball players and fans, different from traditional stores in the sector.”
