The AED 347M mall has been opened by UAE-based Union Coop, the largest consumer co-operative.
Occupying an area of 685,112sq ft the new mall houses 42 stores and 11 commercial kiosks, 90 per cent of which were pre-let prior to opening. The mall boasts a wide variety of brands, with a selection of regional and internationally-renowned brands available as well as restaurants, a large medical centre, a pharmacy and a number of jewellery stores.
“What distinguished Al Warqa City Mall is its strategic location in the Al Warqa-3 area, which will serve the residents of both Warqa and Mirdif areas, in addition to a large segment of residents in the surrounding area as well,” commented Khalid Humaid Bin Diban Al Falasi, Chief Executive Officer of Union Coop.
Al Warqa City Mall is the third mall opened by the Union Coop and is an integral part of the company’s plans to achieve one of its key strategic goals.
