Aldar has launched $1.63bn Yas Point on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, featuring 1,600 homes, a five-star hotel, branded residences, school and waterfront.
Aldar has unveiled Yas Point, a new AED6bn ($1.63bn) integrated waterfront destination on the northern side of Yas Island that will deliver homes, hospitality, education and leisure facilities as part of the continued expansion of Abu Dhabi’s flagship entertainment and lifestyle destination.
The masterplanned development will include 1,600 residences, a five-star resort hotel, branded residences, an international school, retail, dining and leisure facilities. Once complete, Yas Point will be home to 5,000 residents.
Spanning approximately 600,000sq m, the waterfront community is designed around walkable neighbourhoods, public parks, beachfront spaces and waterfront pathways, while connecting residents and visitors with the wider Yas Island ecosystem.
Jonathan Emery, CEO of Aldar Development, said: “The world’s greatest destinations never stand still; they continue to evolve to remain globally relevant and create new reasons for people to visit, live and connect. Yas Point reflects that ambition, introducing a vibrant waterfront destination that expands how people experience Yas Island and reinforces Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading destination for lifestyle, tourism and investment.”
Located on one of Yas Island’s most prominent coastal sites, Yas Point is intended to become a mixed-use destination where people can live, visit, gather and explore.
