Aldi Italia has announced the opening of two new stores, in Salò (Brescia) and Fossano (Cuneo) in the Lombardy and Piedmont regions. The Salò store, located in Via Europa 13, has a sales area of over 1,000 square metres, as well as an outside area of 4,600 square metres, including a car park with 114 parking spaces.

The new outlet is the third Aldi store in the province of Brescia and employs 14 staff. Located in Via Bartolomeo Chiarini 1, the 1,200 square metre Fossano store is the fifth Aldi discount in the Piedmont region and has hired 16 new employees.

Both stores feature a environmental component, including a 48 kW photovoltaic system. As with all Aldi stores in Italy, the two new outlets will include ‘Banco dei Sapori’, a gastronomy section which showcases local Italian products, ‘Pan del Dí’, which is dedicated to baked products, and ‘Caffè al Dì’, a café corner.
