Ali Rashid Lootah – Nakheel Chairman has successfully opened a new AED169 million ($46 million) retail complex and multi-storey carpark at Dragon City as it aims to accomodate for its 40 million annual visitors.
The new four-level complex will include 150 shops and kiosks across 118,00 square feet of ground floor retail space and if for people driving to the complex, there is more than enough space to park with a total of 900 parking bays to choose from.
Dragon City, home of the globally-famous Dragon Mart 1 and 2, is the world’s biggest Chinese trading hub outside mainland China. The master development also has an ibis Styles hotel, which opened in 2016, and a Premier Inn, opening this year. Dragon Towers, the community’s first residential development, is under construction.
