The Beverly Hills athletic apparel brand that has become the staple workout wear for the Hollywood elite, is elevating its Midwestern presence with a store at Mall of America.
The 6,000sq ft space will be its second “sanctuary” (what Alo calls its 100-plus stores) in Minnesota. The brand synchs fashion with fitness, blending loungewear, footwear and wellness products with yoga studios.
“The opening of Alo Yoga will be a fantastic addition to our retail mix as we continue expanding our athleisure offerings,” said Carrie Charleston, MOA’s VP of Leasing. “Alo Yoga has a strong and engaged community with an incredible mission to inspire mindfulness. We are excited to collaborate with this exceptional brand as we continue evolving the retail experience for our shoppers.”
Alo was founded in 2007 upon recognising an opportunity in the market to introduce high-performance apparel tailored specifically for the yoga community. Alo, which stands for “air, land and ocean,” rose to prominence when the brand was spotted in paparazzi photographs of Hollywood celebs such as Taylor Swift and Kendall Jenner.
The brand partners with global wellness experts to inspire movement, breathwork, and community-building. Alo Yoga also offers thousands of virtual workout and meditation classes through Alo Moves, its wellness membership app.
