The Japanese sporting goods giant is set to open their largest flagship store in the group’s history in the YUNIKA Building at the East Exit of Shinjuku, Tokyo.
The new store will form part of the brand’s 50th anniversary campaign, meanwhile the increase in people’s enthusiasm for outdoor sports and camping has been a large driving factor to opening the brand’s largest store in the post-pandemic world.
ALPEN Tokyo utilises a vast area of more than 12,000sq m with 8 floors above ground and 2 floors below ground. This area houses the brand’s sports store – Sports Depo, outdoor speciality store – Alpen Outdoors and golf speciality store ‘Golf5’. This is the first time that an Alpen flagship will combine its various brand formats.
The size of the store will allow Alpen to better convey a wide range of sporting goods, product categories and styles. Items available will include products covering baseball, football, tennis, basketball, running and more fields.
