Located in Brooklyn’s Industry City Complex, the new dark store will fulfil online grocery orders for customers. Dark stores are becoming more frequently utilised by supermarkets to provide a safer location for staff to fulfil online orders without being exposed to the threat of the coronavirus.
To keep up with the demand of their ever-growing grocery offering, Amazon has employed hundreds of new staff to work in the dark store who will keep the operations of grocery delivery moving swiftly.
