The upcoming Andaz Prague is located on Senovážné Square, in the heart of the historical centre of Prague and is set to open its doors on 7 March.
The hotel encompasses the iconic Sugar Palace and takes inspiration from the rich local culture to provide you with an unforgettable stay. Andaz Prague is situated close to Wenceslas Square, the Old Town Square, and the historic Municipal house, offering some of the most beautiful historic sites in Europe within short walking distance.
Housed in the former office building, the Sugar Palace, the hotel features 176 rooms, three food and beverage outlets, event space, a fitness centre, and a spa. The neo-baroque palace was built in 1916 for administrative purposes, and today it is a protected cultural monument.
Inspired by the earth (from the Czech word zem), which provides the nourishment for flora and fauna, celebrated through the art of cooking, the ZEM Restaurant is the connection between nature and the creativity of our chefs. Local ingredients coming from Moravia and Bohemia are crafted into modern versions of Czech comfort food through the art of bistronomy, using high-quality ingredients and natural flavors. The menu also honours the influences of authentic Nikkei, Japanese meat dishes from the charcoal grill, and handmade dumplings from our steamers.
Takuya Soyama, Vice President of Development at Hyatt, said: “Prague has been a popular destination since the Velvet Revolution 30 years ago. With the addition of Andaz Prague, we are excited for Hyatt to have a brand presence in the three imperial cities of Europe – Vienna, Budapest, and Prague.”
