Barbour Unveils New Bogotá Unit

The classic fashion brand has confirmed the opening of a new store in the country this month, with a launch set for the Unicentro shopping centre in Bogotá.

Since its arrival in the country, Barbour has had sales spaces within Marsanti stores, its local partner in Colombia; however, this would be its first own store.

This new location not only expands Barbour’s physical presence in the capital, but also reinforces its positioning in high-traffic and prestigious spaces. Unicentro is one of the most historic and popular shopping centres in Bogotá, located in the town of Usaquén. With this opening, Barbour will now operate at least three stores in the city, as part of Marsanti’s projected growth plan.

Looking ahead, the company has already stated that its next step will be to open at the Quora shopping centre by 2028, signing agreements with the developer group to ensure its presence from the project’s opening.

With the opening at Unicentro, Barbour, the British brand with over 130 years of history, renowned for its iconic waxed jackets, continues its consolidation in Colombia. The new store not only opens another door to Bogotá customers but also reaffirms its commitment to offering its full portfolio: from outerwear and accessories to women’s lines and, eventually, complementary products such as those for pets.
