The Italian fashion brand, which is known for its bags and accessories, is investing €4M in its expansion plans in Spain.

The brand hopes to open 15 of its own physical points of sale in a number of main Spanish cities including Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Valencia, Alicante, Zaragoza, Santander, Murcia, Sagunto and Reus. Each of the stores are expected to occupy an area of between 150 – 200sq m. The stores will feature the brands collections of bags, accessories and suitcases, all of which will also be available online.

Jesús Lanuza, Barelly’s National Retail Director, explains that: “Barelly’s objective is to reach 50 establishments within the next 4 years and thus be present in all Spanish cities with more than 100,000 inhabitants. The firm’s plan includes the Balearic and Canary Islands.”

By 2022, Barelly intends to invest an additional €6M to continue promoting the opening of up to 15 additional stores.
