The new restaurant marks further expansion for the brand across the UAE, which already has branches in Dubai and Sharjah.
Berenjak has arrived in Abu Dhabi, following success for the brand in Dubai and Sharjah. Starting out in London, Berenjak expanded to the UAE in 2023, first opening in Dubai’s Dar Wasl Mall, before setting up in Aljada in Sharjah in 2024.
The restaurant is now open in a standalone villa The House in Al Bateen, brought to the UAE capital by Belhasa Hospitality.
Berenjak is spread across two floors in a space filled with warm lighting, dark oak seating and aged brass tabletops. There are also timber veneer ceilings with chandeliers and vintage-inspired ceiling fans. Persian artwork from the 19th and early 20th centuries adorn the walls.
The restaurant boasts an open kitchen, while there’s also a four-seat chef’s table. Upstairs there’s a private dining area.
