Chipotle Mexican Grill, the fast-casual restaurant serving responsibly sourced, classically-cooked real food with wholesome ingredients, announced it is opening a restaurant in the East Dulwich suburb of London.
The new site is scheduled to open at 49-51 Lordship Lane on 5 October. Currently, Chipotle has 16 locations in the greater London area and is the only company of its size that owns and operates all of it restaurants in North America and Europe. Over the summer, the company opened its first location in Surrey at White Lion Walk in Guildford as well as a location at the O2 Entertainment district.
Jacob Sumner, Director of European Operations at Chipotle, commented on the site: “We are always looking for new communities to expand access to our real, fresh ingredients and Lordship Lane is the perfect venue. As an innovator in the food industry, our fast-casual offering and purpose to cultivate a better world compliment the dynamic pace of the destination.”
