Cipriani Dolci Opens in Riyadh

The Diplomatic Quarter opening marks a significant milestone in the brand’s expansion in the Middle East.

Found in the Diplomatic Quarter, the Venetian pasticceria concept from the Cipriani family has a 94-year history.

“Riyadh is a city with a deep appreciation for heritage and quality, making it the perfect home for our latest venture,” says Giuseppe Cipriani, CEO. “With this opening in the Diplomatic Quarter, we are proud to bring our family’s ninety-year passion for hospitality to such a distinguished community.”

An all-day dining experience, the interiors boast a palette of greens and whites, with natural materials and maritime details, with seating for up to 170 diners. There is an indoor dining room and spacious terrace.

Billing itself as the ideal place for a light breakfast, quiet business lunch or elegant after-work meal, the menu is based on the brand’s rich culinary history.

Dishes include Cipriani’s iconic carpaccio alla Cipriani, first created at Harry’s Bar in Venice in 1950, as well as baked tagliolini. Salads, sandwiches and more are found elsewhere on the menu, as well as a selection of cakes and pastries, such as the signature vanilla meringue cake and torta di cioccolato. The restaurant also has a range of gift baskets and Cipriani food products.
