South Korea’s beauty chain CJ Olive Young is set to launch Olive Better, a wellness-focused store concept, in January.
The first Olive Better outlet will open in Gwanghwamun, a key business district in central Seoul, with a second store planned for Gangnam, one of the city’s busiest commercial areas. The locations are intended to attract office workers, local residents and visitors seeking convenient access to wellness products as part of their daily routines.
Positioned around everyday health and well-being, Olive Better will carry a curated selection of ‘inner-beauty foods’, nutritional supplements, healthy snacks, fitness accessories, aromatherapy products, sleep solutions, oral care items and dermacosmetics.
The range is aimed primarily at consumers in their mid-20s to mid-30s who increasingly see wellness as a core lifestyle priority rather than a niche category.
Alongside its physical rollout, Olive Better will also be available through the Olive Young app and website, extending the concept across the retailer’s digital platforms.
The launch comes as Olive Young accelerates its global expansion. Last month, the retailer announced plans to open its first US store and enter the UAE market.
